Royal Air Force Chinook helicopters were seen over Glasgow on Friday. They were part of a exercise. Local emergency services took part in the exercise. Flight operations took place over the city.

The manufacturer shipped CH-47F Chinook helicopters to the Egyptian Air Force. Five Chinooks were delivered to Nigeria's military. That contract was worth $426 million. The contract for Nigeria was signed in 2023. They represent recent international sales of the aircraft.
